A modern consumer board replaces an old-style fuse box. It includes a series of Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO). These trip with an overload current, short circuit and earth leakage fault. This keeps people safe in the event of water leaks, damage to cables or overloaded sockets, for example.
After testing your existing electrical circuits and assessing your needs we can recommend the best approach. We’ll let you know if you’ll need any additional cabling. To install your new consumer board, we must turn off the power supply to complete the work. Once the power is back on, we test everything to confirm safety before issuing an installation certificate.
Yes, we can move your consumer board but not your electricity meter. Depending on where you would like to position your consumer board you might have to contact your electricity provider to move the meter.
