The property featured two ageing consumer units, with critical circuits powering sockets, lighting, and the boiler in need of modernisation. The work began with the removal of the old consumer units and the installation of a new 21-way metal-clad board complete with integrated surge protection. This surge protection installation is vital for safeguarding modern homes that have smart appliances, home entertainment systems, and other sensitive electronics from potential power surges.
Following the consumer unit upgrade, our team undertook a comprehensive domestic rewire of all key circuits. This included installing seven new double sockets in the lounge and additional sockets in the hallways and three bedrooms to provide safe, convenient access to power.
