Our Solution
Installation Process
The project started with the roofing team stripping the existing roof. A new breathable membrane and fresh battens were installed to ensure the roof was level – a crucial step for fitting in-roof solar panels, as each panel clicks together to form a watertight seal.
Once the roof was prepared, we fitted 16 Solfit 425W in-roof solar panels. These panels are designed to integrate neatly with the roofline, offering excellent performance and a sleek aesthetic finish. For safety and maximum efficiency, every panel was paired with an Enphase IQ8 AC Microinverter. Unlike traditional systems, this design converts DC power to AC at the panel, eliminating the need for high-voltage DC cabling and making it one of the safest in-roof solar setups available.
To capture and store excess solar energy, we installed a GivEnergy All In One 13.5kW battery system with an AC coupled inverter. The battery stores any surplus energy after meeting the home’s immediate load, ensuring power is available even when the sun isn’t shining.
